General
From when can I board a ship?
Boarding from the starting point of the trip takes place approximately 15 minutes before the ship’s departure for scheduled trips and approximately 30 minutes before the ship’s departure for special events.
To ensure smooth operations at the stops along the route, we ask that you first disembark passengers and then board.Which ship is in operation?
The current ship deployment schedule can be found here.
Weiße Flotte Sachsen GmbH reserves the right to make changes to the ship’s deployment.
Ticket
Do I have to purchase my tickets before I travel?
To make boarding as enjoyable as possible for all guests and avoid waiting times, we recommend purchasing your tickets before your trip. You can do this conveniently online at dev-saechsische-dampfschifffahrt.schroeder-dev.com or at one of our digital pillars along the route. Alternatively, you can also visit our service centers on Terrassenufer or Georg-Treu-Platz.
We’d also like to point out that certain trips have limited seating. Booking tickets early will ensure you secure your seats.
Where can I buy tickets for a cruise?
Tickets you get
- during opening hours at our service stations in Dresden (Terrassenufer and Georg-Treu-Platz)
- or online via our ticket system
- directly on board (except when starting in Dresden)
Vouchers can be purchased online or through the service center.
Will a seat be reserved for me when I purchase or book tickets?
Excerpt from the Terms and Conditions – I. §2 3.
“The purchase of a ticket entitles the holder to take the agreed-upon items. There is no obligation to assign a specific seat indoors or outdoors. Seat reservations are only possible indoors and require the use of our catering services per person/ticket.”You will be placed on the following cruises:

Discount
Do I receive a discount as a person with a disability or my accompanying person?
Persons with disabilities pay the fare according to the applicable fare table.
Persons accompanying persons with disabilities receive free travel upon presentation of a disability card with the “B” mark. This applies only to scheduled services.
Parking
Where can I find a parking space in Dresden at the Terrassenufer?
Public paid parking is available under the Carolabrücke bridge (temporarily unavailable due to the bridge collapse and ongoing construction work in that area), or in the underground parking at Frauenkirche, Q-Park Neumarkt, and Semperoper.

Carry along
Can I take a dog on board?
Excerpt from the General Terms and Conditions I. §3 5.
“Dogs are permitted and must be supervised at all times. They must be kept on a leash. Dangerous dogs as defined by the GefHundG (“Law for the Protection of the Public from Dangerous Dogs”) must be muzzled. Other animals are excluded from carriage.”Will I be transported on the ships with a bicycle, a stroller or a wheelchair?
Auszug aus den AGB – I. §3 3.
„Kinderwagen und Krankenrollstühle können kostenfrei mitgenommen werden, insofern entsprechende Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten bestehen.With regard to accommodation, appropriate space assignments may be made as determined by the ship’s crew. The carriage of a stroller and/or wheelchair must be notified accordingly prior to transport. There is no right to carry other items, especially vehicles or rowing and canoeing boats.
Unfortunately, wheelchair access is not possible when boarding at piers 10–20 in Dresden.
Bicycles may only be brought on board with a valid ticket and are subject to a €4.00 fee.
NOTE: Unfortunately, it is not possible to take bicycles on tours.
For space reasons, it is generally not possible to take e-scooters, cargo bikes and trailers with you.
Cancellation
Until when can I cancel booked tickets free of charge?
Excerpt from the General Terms and Conditions I. §5 1. & 2.
“Notwithstanding the following provisions, the customer has the right to return a maximum of 10 tickets free of charge up to 24 hours before the day of travel. This can be done by submitting the original tickets and a copy of the payment receipt. Special cancellation deadlines apply to the Fleet Parade and Glitter, Glamour & Enjoyment on the New Year’s Eve ship: The customer has the right to return a maximum of 10 tickets free of charge up to 30 calendar days before the day of travel. A complete cancellation is possible up to 2 months before the start of the trip.”n

Voucher
Where can I purchase vouchers for a cruise?
You can purchase value vouchers for an amount of your choice at all service stations, in the service center and in our online store.
Where can I redeem vouchers?
Vouchers can be redeemed for ticket purchases at our service stations and online. They can also be used for onboard dining options.
