Renovation of the MS “August der Starke” on the Terrassenufer has begun!
The starting signal for our second major project, the comprehensive conversion of the saloon ship “August der Starke”, has been given.
As was the case with the MS “Gräfin Cosel” a year ago, the initial work will be carried out directly on site at Terrassenufer. This way, we can ensure that no valuable time is lost and that the ship can shine in its new splendor in time for the naval parade in May.
The first containers have arrived, the old furnishings are being cleared out, ceiling panels removed, and anything no longer usable is being disposed of. Step by step, the interior of the ship is being gutted to make room for the new, modern equipment.

The conversion is based on the already successfully modernized sister ship “Gräfin Cosel.” In addition to a comprehensive visual change to the interior and exterior, technical upgrades are also planned.
If all goes according to plan, the conversion of the MS “August der Starke” will be completed in approximately four months. This means the saloon ship will shine in its new splendor just in time for the next naval parade. We are already looking forward to presenting the results of this transformation to you.
Stay tuned and join us on this exciting renovation journey! We’ll keep you updated on the progress and offer a glimpse behind the scenes.
