Paddle steamer „Pirna“

Built in 1898, the PD “Pirna” is the sister ship of the PD “Kurort Rathen”. Cozy, small salons with nostalgic charm are available for your event.

“On May 22, 1898, with the start of the summer schedule, the steamer KÖNIG ALBERT was commissioned. The ship was named in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the throne and the 70th birthday of King Albert of Saxony. (…) [T]he steamer KÖNIG ALBERT [received] the new name PIRNA on May 29, 1919.”*
