The new look!
The hull has been removed, the scaffolding is being dismantled. For the first time, our saloon ship “Gräfin Cosel” is presenting itself in its new colors. The black and white surfaces are now recognizable, the new look of the remodeled ship. It’s far from finished, but Gerd Rüdiger-Degutsch, the fleet’s technical director and intimately familiar with the schedule for the “Cosel” conversion, assures:
“The schedule will be kept.”
This means the ship will definitely be present at our fleet parade at the start of the main season on May 1st. The exterior will be complete by then, and all the interior work will also be finished. It doesn’t look like it yet, but new ceiling panels are being installed, the first counters are in place in the new Fine Dining Club, on the Conference Deck, and in the Lounge Café, the first wall paneling has been installed, and the floors have been re-poured almost everywhere.
The salon ship will soon reappear in the city center after more than three months of absence. However, we’re keeping the exact date secret. First, the Schottel propulsion systems need to be installed and the ship launched. Once the salon ship is ready to sail again, it will depart from Laubegast and sail down the Elbe to the city center. Then the new furniture will be delivered and the interior work will be completed. Join us in looking forward to a completely new ship in the WEIßE FLOTTE SACHSEN GmbH fleet. Admittedly, it’s not entirely new, but we promise: a completely new experience—for example, on the now almost finished sun deck.
