Experience unforgettable moments on the Elbe!
Late autumn ushers in the festive Advent season, with stollen, sparkling stars, and fir tree decorations. Our ships, festively decorated and comfortably warm, invite you to special cruises. Enjoy delicious food and drinks on board that perfectly complement the Advent spirit. We look forward to welcoming you on these popular cruises and experiencing the magic of the season with you.
For example, you can choose between Winter Lights cruises from the Terrassenufer downstream or cruises to the light spectacle in Pillnitz Palace Park, the Christmas Garden, from our piers near the Albert Bridge upstream. Both options are available in our schedule from the end of November and are available almost until mid-January. Because the “Winter Lights” are already attracting particular interest, we have even scheduled a second boat on several days. This provides space for everyone who wants to experience the three-hour tour, including a three-course Advent menu and live music.
For all those who love Dresden Stollen, we recommend our Christmas Stollen cruises, which we’re offering this year both upstream and downstream. Starting November 25th, two cruises will depart every afternoon, heading toward Pillnitz and Meissen. They last 90 minutes and, of course, include a piece of the finest Dresden Stollen, coffee, tea, or another non-alcoholic hot beverage.

Or do you want to relax after Christmas and a lavish New Year’s Eve? Then we recommend our New Year’s lunch on our chic saloon ship, the “Gräfin Cosel.” The ship departs at 11 a.m. and sails for three hours.
You’ll certainly notice for yourself during a cruise that not all of our ships are sailing during this time. Some are at the shipyard in Dresden-Laubegast, while others are “packed up” overwintering at our moorings, awaiting the new season. This winter’s “shipyard ships” include our smallest steamers, the “Krippen” and the “Diesbar.”
