In 2026, three of our traditional paddle steamers will be celebrating very special anniversaries:
- May 2nd: PD Kurort Rathen – 130 years
- May 16th: PD Pillnitz – 140 years
- July 4th: PD Dresden – 100 years
We will mark these milestones with special cruises and on-board visits that create space for memories, encounters, and genuine emotions.
On this 1-hour paddle steamer cruise, you’ll experience Dresden in a wonderfully relaxed way. Start your tour at the Terrassenufer and enjoy a panoramic view of the historic Old Town from the ship’s deck.
The route begins with a short stretch upriver before we set course for Dresden-Pieschen and its harbor. After turning there, we head back toward the Old Town, where you’ll be treated to the world-famous Canaletto View, just as Bernardo Bellotto, known as Canaletto, once painted it. From this vantage point, you can take in the full effect and elegance of Dresden’s skyline in all its glory.
Along the way, you’ll pass major landmarks such as the Semper Opera House, the Catholic Court Church, the Brühl’s Terrace, and finally the impressive Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche). This tour lets you discover the beauty and charm of Dresden in just one hour – and gives you ample time to admire the city’s unique silhouette from the river.
