Everything on board! Parade for the company’s 190th anniversary!
On the occasion of the White Fleet’s 190th company anniversary, the grand anniversary parade will take place on the Elbe on October 3rd. For the second time this year, the vessels of the fleet will present themselves in a festive parade cruise—an unusual spectacle and an impressive experience.
Experience our historic paddle steamers and elegant saloon ships in ceremonial formation. The starting and finishing point is Dresden’s Terrassenufer. From there, the fleet assembles into a splendid parade, offering you new, unobstructed perspectives of the famous Old Town skyline along the way. The planned route will take the vessels from the city center upstream to the bridge “Blaues Wunder”, then downstream towards Übigau, and finally back upstream to the Terrassenufer. This applies to a water level of up to 2 meters at the Dresden gauge. If the water level rises higher, the parade will take place on the route Dresden Old Town – towards Pillnitz – Dresden Old Town.
Accompanied by atmospheric live music, you will glide along the Elbe for around 3.5 hours – a highlight of the anniversary year that you shouldn’t miss.
