Conversion is in full swing
Our saloon ship “Augustus the Strong“ is currently still at the shipyard – but the countdown is on: By 1 May, just in time for the start of the main season, the ship should be extensively modernized, renovated and ready for unforgettable hours on the Elbe. Work on, under and around the ship is currently being carried out at full speed in order to complete everything on time.
Important work steps have already been completed in the past few days. For example, the leveling compound has now been applied to the floors – a crucial basis for the upcoming flooring work, which will ensure a neat and high-quality appearance on board. The floors in the toilet areas have also been completely renewed and are already finished.
A visible sign of progress is the new lettering on the port side. At the same time, the tent roof is about to be dismantled. This had served as a protective structure during the winter months and is now being dismantled so that the final work on the upper deck can begin.

All the counters will be lifted on board by crane and installed in the coming week. This will be another step towards completing the interior, which will offer even more comfort and atmosphere for our guests in future.
Work is also continuing on the Conference Deck. Work on the ceiling will be completed in the coming week so that this area will soon be fully available for events and business functions.
Preparations are proceeding according to plan and we are very pleased with the visible progress at all levels.
