Technical fascination paired with impressive views
Experience unforgettable moments aboard the “PD Diesbar” during our special excursions as part of the “Day of Open Monuments.”
The only paddle steamer in the fleet still powered by coal, the Diesbar is a true masterpiece of engineering. The steam engine, which dates back to 1841 and was once used on the “PD Bohemia”, is today the oldest steam engine still in use in the world.
Relax during a Canaletto cruise, enjoy the scenery, and take in the breathtaking Canaletto View as the journey draws to a close.
During the cruise you will be accompanied by a host who will tell you interesting facts about the history and technology of the passenger steamer. Get to know the special features of the ship and learn more about the fascinating world of steam navigation.
