Nightly twilight in the Saxon Switzerland New in the schedule: our evening steamboat in Saxon Switzerland!...
The palaces of Dresden in the evening
In our season we take off on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. from the Terrassenufer in Dresden’s old town to Pillnitz Castle.
After leaving the old town of Dresden you can see the three historic Elbe castles from afar – Albrechtsberg Castle, Lingner Castle and Eckberg Castle were built on the site of a vineyard within 11 years from 1850.
Continuing upstream we will pass the famous Loschwitz Bridge called the “Blaue Wunder”, the television tower and the boatman’s church “Maria am Wasser”. Afterwards we will be approaching the fourth, probably the most famous castle, the Pillnitz Castle. On the return journey you have time to enjoy the evening atmosphere of the Elbe river until 10:00 PM before the ship docks again at the Terrassenufer.
